EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO SSPL DRDO

*Exploring  Cutting-Edge Technologies at SSPL DRDO*

? On *19th February 2024*, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department of MAIT College had the privilege of visiting the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) at *DRDO* . They explored labs specializing in nanotechnology, single crystal materials, and CNT-based sensors. ?

✨️The visit offered students invaluable insights into terahertz technology applications in imaging, spectroscopy, and communication, as well as the growth and characterization of single crystals essential for advanced electronic and photonic devices. The role of various sensors in defense, healthcare, and environmental monitoring was also demonstrated, broadening their understanding of current and future technologies. ?

The EEE department extends heartfelt thanks to *Mr. Ramashish Chouksey Sir (Scientist F, DRDO)* for his expert guidance during the visit. This educational experience has inspired students to delve deeper into research and innovation in advanced materials and devices. ?

This visit, coordinated by *Ms. Shashibala Agarwal (Assistant Professor)* and *Mr. Govind Gupta(Assistant Professor)* , was attended by 31 enthusiastic students. Gratitude to Dr. Monika Gupta (HOD, EEE department) who has always been encouraging and source of motivation to promote such visits.
