Electrotech Orientation 2024

On September 6, 2024, ElectroTech, the official technical society of the EEE department at MAIT, conducted an engaging orientation program in Room no. 601, attended by 20 enthusiastic students from the 3rd and 5th semesters. The event aimed at introducing students to the department's dynamic technical culture. Dr. Poonam Juneja, Faculty Coordinator, provided valuable insights into the available resources and encouraged students to explore the opportunities offered by the society, while Dr. Monika Gupta, Head of the Department, highlighted ElectroTech’s vital role in fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the field of electrical and electronics engineering.

Discussion was done on how ElectroTech serves as a platform for students with a strong interest in electrical and electronic engineering. The society organizes a range of activities, including seminars, workshops, conferences, and networking events, to ensure members stay updated with the latest industry developments. Additionally, we introduced the students to current projects focused on emerging areas like Electric Vehicles (EV) and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into engineering solutions. This orientation encouraged students to actively participate in the society’s initiatives and contribute to the department’s technical growth.
